Reasonable Faith är en av apologetikens nutida klassiker. William Lane Craig bemöter här på en nivå som passar både lekmän och akademiker argument mot den kristna tron, men presenterar framför allt en positiv apologetik för kristen tro. Förhållandet mellan ro och förnuft, Guds existens, problem angående historisk kunskap och mirakel, Jesus personliga anspråk, och uppståndelsens historicitet är exempel på de frågor som tas upp.

I den tredje upplagan av sin apologetikklassiker har William Lane Craig reviderat och uppdaterat de viktigaste sektionerna så att den berör de senaste framstegen inom astrofysik, filosofi, sannolikhetsberäkning, argument för kristen tro och den s k reformerta epistemologin.

Craig säger själv om apologetik att “om det finns en sant och övertygande argumentation för kristen tro behöver du inte vara expert i andra religioner och kulter. Ett positivt berättigande av den kristna tron övertrumfar automatiskt alla konkurrerande världsbilder utan ett lika stark trovärdighet”. Ett sådant berättigande presenteras i denna bok.
